I was really impressed with the passion and professionalism of Doctor de Beer. He meticulously ran various tests on my shoulder after being misdiagnosed by someone before. Dr. De Beer diagnosed me accurately after I have been walking around in pain for more than three months. Once diagnosed my operation was scheduled on very short notice by the office staff. As I was struggling with discomfort and stiffness 4 weeks after my operation, Dr. De Beer was willing to see me on a public holiday. He opened the office, played receptionist and juggled the patients really well. Dedication and passion are the two words that immediately comes to mind when thinking of Dr. De Beer. My experience has only been positive to date and my healing process are on schedule.

I would like to thank Dr. De Beer, Sam and all the staff at the Shoulder Institute, including Dr. Gert Coetzee my anaesthetist, for going above and beyond to help fit in an appointment for me, and then to arrange surgery at such short notice. Dr. De Beer is a world class surgeon, and I feel so privileged to have been able to have my surgery done in South Africa. (I now live and practice full-time as an Anaesthetist in New Zealand.) The theatre and nursing staff at the Mediclinic were also very professional and caring. Thank you again.
